Temperate Deciduous Forest
The deciduous forest is broken up into five zones. The first zone is the tree stratum zone. The second zone is the small tree and sapling zone. The shrub zone is the third zone. The fourth zone is the shrub zone. The last zone is the ground zone where plants grow right on or above the ground. Temperate forest are dominate to trees that loose their leaves each year. These are found in areas with moist soil, warm summers and mild winters.
